Our Work: Tree Service Project Gallery in Peoria, IL

This gallery shows real tree service jobs completed by Peoria Tree Removal Co. across Peoria and the surrounding towns — removals, trimming, crane picks, stump grinding, and storm cleanup. Every photo is our own crew, on our own jobs, in neighborhoods you probably drive through.
Quick Facts: Our Work in Peoria
- 17 years serving Peoria and Peoria County — since 2009.
- Thousands of jobs completed: removals, trimming, stump grinding, storm cleanup.
- 12 towns with dedicated service coverage, from Chillicothe to Pekin.
- Every job photographed: before, during, and after — ask to see your street’s jobs.
- Cleanup standard: chipped, hauled, raked — the crew that cuts is the crew that cleans.
- Emergency record: 24/7 storm response through the June 2024 derecho and every ice storm since.
Anyone can put stock photos on a website. We’d rather show you the actual work — the crane over the garage in Peoria Heights, the backyard maple in West Peoria that three other companies walked away from, the storm wreck we cleared off a driveway at midnight. When you’re choosing who to trust with a 60-foot tree over your roof, “here’s the same job we did on your neighbor’s street” beats any sales pitch.
Below is a sample of recent work. When we come out for your free estimate, ask the crew lead about jobs near you — odds are we’ve worked your block, and we’ll happily show you the photos to prove it. Every gallery starts with a real job.
Crane-Assisted Removals

Job: crane-assisted removal of a storm-leaning silver maple | Town: Peoria Heights | Challenge: tree leaned over a detached garage with six-foot side yards and a neighbor’s new driveway two feet from the fence.
How we did it: crane parked curbside on the street, outriggers on hardwood mats, climber cutting sections from the driveway side while the operator lifted each piece straight up and swung it to the chipper. Done by lunch — garage roof untouched, neighbor’s driveway unmarked.
Crane jobs are our signature work: Grandview Drive bluff homes with no rear access, tight West Peoria lots, storm-split trees too dangerous to climb. When there’s nowhere safe for a tree to fall, the crane makes the job possible at all. See how it works in our crane-assisted removal guide.
Trimming, Pruning & Crown Work

Job: crown cleaning and structural pruning of a mature oak | Town: Peoria (61614) | Challenge: decades of dead interior wood, crossing limbs rubbing the roof, and a canopy so dense summer storms were pushing the whole tree.
How we did it: bucket truck for the outer canopy, climber for the interior. Deadwood out, crossing branches removed, weight reduced over the roofline — no topping, no lion-tailing, just clean ISA-standard cuts. The homeowner’s words: “It looks like a different tree, but it’s still our tree.”
A lot of “removal” calls end as pruning jobs once our arborist actually looks — about a third of them. A good trim buys a healthy tree years. Details on our trimming and pruning page.
Storm Damage & Emergency Cleanup
Job: midnight emergency clearing of a storm-felled oak | Town: West Peoria | Challenge: tree across the driveway at 11 p.m. during a summer storm cell, homeowner’s car trapped in the garage.
How we did it: crew on-site within the hour, cut a vehicle path first, then full removal and hauling the next morning. Car freed, driveway clear, yard raked — the only evidence by noon was the stump, which we ground the following week.
The June 2024 derecho kept every tree crew in central Illinois busy for weeks. We ran 24/7 through it — trees on houses, trees on cars, trees across roads in half the county. That’s what the 24/7 emergency service is for: when the tree can’t wait until morning, neither do we.

Project Types We Photograph Most
Wondering whether your job is something we handle every week? Here’s what fills our camera roll:
| Project type | Typical Peoria job | Towns you’ll see in the photos |
|---|---|---|
| Standard removal | Dead ash, outgrown silver maple, cottonwood dropping limbs | Peoria, Bartonville, Morton |
| Crane-assisted removal | Tree over house/garage/pool with no drop zone | Peoria Heights, West Peoria, Grandview Drive |
| Trimming & pruning | Crown cleaning, storm-proofing, roof clearance | 61614, 61615, Dunlap |
| Stump grinding | Single stumps to full backyard clearing | East Peoria, Washington, Pekin |
| Storm emergency | Trees on structures, blocked driveways, hanging limbs | All over Peoria County, 24/7 |
| Lot & land clearing | Overgrown lots, fence lines, pre-construction clearing | Chillicothe, Elmwood, Brimfield |
Stump work is its own photo series — before-and-afters of stumps that went from tripping hazard to flat lawn in under an hour. See stump grinding and removal for the details.
Why We Show Our Work
- It keeps us honest. A company that photographs every job is a company that stands behind every job. If something ever isn’t right, the photos are the record.
- It helps you decide. Seeing the same kind of tree, in the same kind of yard, in your town — that’s worth more than any brochure.
- It shows the cleanup. Half the industry’s bad reputation comes from jobs left half-finished. Our after-photos are the proof of the standard: raked, hauled, done.
- It’s how neighbors find us. A striking number of our jobs start with “you did the maple two doors down.” Good work photographs well.
Want to see jobs on your street before you book? Mention it on your free estimate — the crew lead can usually pull up photos from your neighborhood on the spot.
Neighborhoods We've Worked Across Peoria
Seventeen years in one market means deep roots — literally. Here’s where the gallery photos come from, and what each area tends to need:
- Peoria Heights & Grandview Drive: bluff lots with mature oaks and maples, tight access, big views. Crane work and careful rigging dominate here — the lots are steep, the trees are old, and the drop zones are nonexistent.
- West Peoria: post-war neighborhoods with 60-year-old silver maples now outgrowing their lots. Removals, crown reductions, and a lot of “the tree the builder planted in 1962.”
- 61614 & 61615: established suburbs with big shade trees and bigger expectations. Pruning, storm-proofing, and HOA-conscious cleanup — these yards get photographed because the before-and-afters are dramatic.
- Bartonville, Bellevue, Elmwood: the village ring — larger lots, older farmstead trees, and plenty of dead ash from the emerald ash borer wave. Removals and lot clearing.
- Chillicothe, Dunlap, Princeville: the northern corridor — river-valley soil, cottonwoods, and storm damage from every wind event that rolls down the Illinois River.
- East Peoria, Washington, Morton, Pekin: the Tazewell County side — same story, different zip codes. Storm cleanup after the June 2024 derecho kept us here for weeks.

Gallery FAQs
Are these really your own jobs?
Yes. Every photo on this page was taken by our crew on our jobs in the Peoria area. No stock photos, no “representative images.”
Can I see before-and-after photos of a job like mine?
Absolutely — ask during your free estimate. We keep job photos organized by job type and town, so we can usually show you something very close to your situation.
Do you photograph every job?
We photograph the vast majority — before, during, and after. It protects you and us, and it builds this gallery.
Will you photograph my job?
Yes, as part of our normal process. If you’d rather your property not appear in public galleries, just say so — we’ll keep the photos internal.
Do you have photos of crane jobs specifically?
Plenty — crane-assisted removals are our most photographed work because the setup is so visual. Ask the crew lead during your estimate and we’ll show you crane picks over houses, garages, and pools from all over Peoria.
Can I share your gallery photos with my HOA board?
Absolutely. Boards approve faster when they can see the quality of the work — we’ve had homeowners attach our job photos to HOA applications with good results.
Your Property Could Be Our Next After-Photo
Every gallery starts with a phone call. Get a free estimate — we’ll walk the property, show you photos of similar jobs we’ve done nearby, and give you an exact written price.
